In 2024 Brad & Tracy Poynor purchased Gabriel’s of Santa Fe.

The Poynors were chosen by Sydney Gabriel to purchase the restaurant he established in 1993 with the intention of maintaining the thriving New Mexican tradition he created so many years ago. The Poynors are excited to own, and continue to operate, Gabriel’s in the way Mr. Gabriel always intended.

Yes, we’re from Texas where TexMex is king, but we’ve been there and done that. Now we finally get a chance to embrace our love of New Mexican food. It is a great honor to be chosen by Sydney Gabriel to purchase the restaurant he founded and provide the wonderful customers of Gabriel’s many more years of service.

Gabriel’s will always offer original tastes of the Southwest and Old Mexico, as well as vegetarian dishes and local favorites. Our staff includes original servers, bartenders and kitchen crew. These amazing people have been serving Santa Fean’s for years.
